Roses!! A few days ago my new Kitchen Sink stamp set “3-Step Hearts and Roses” arrived and I couldn’t wait to make a card with them. Well one card ended up being three!! Woohoo!! The hardest part about stamping these roses was trying to figure out what color to make them…. KIDDING!!! Of course I made them pink. Do roses come in any other color?

The colors I used (in order) for the roses and leaves are:
Roses: Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy
Leaves: River Rock, Old Olive, Garden Green

The only variation was on the back card “for you.” Once I had stamped the roses I once again stamped the entire rose with Versamark, applied Crystal Clear embossing powder and then heat set. I then brayered over the flowers in Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip. The background is also stamped with SU!’s “Itty Bitty Backgrounds.” The designer paper is SU!’s new “Afternoon Tea.”

Stamps: Kitchen Sink 3-Step Hearts and Roses and SU! Itty Bitty Backgrounds, All Holidays, Warmest Regards, Fancy Flexible Phrases
Paper: SU! DP Afternoon Tea, Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Bravo Burgundy, Garden Green
Ink: River Rock, Old Olive, Garden Green, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Primas, Brads, GG Ribbon, Metallic Cording, Oval Punch, Brayer
