Each month the Dirty Dozen Design Team (current and alumni) at Splitcoaststampers have a challenge. This month the challenge focus was to use stamps designed by fellow dirty girls.

Here is my card for the challenge. Aren’t these flowers just the cutest! They, along with the sentiment and butterfly, are all part of Anna Wight’s (SweetMissDaisy) “Posies for You” set from Whipper Snapper Designs. The cool background “Scratched Grid” was designed by Lisa Strahl (Mona Lisa) and is from Cornish Heritage Farms.

This was a fun card to make. The green panel with the three punched circles was popped up on dimensionals and placed over the Whisper White card stock with the flower images. Circles were also punched out of the scalloped circles which were then adhered to the panel. The flowers and butterflies were colored with SU! markers.

If you want to see all of the cards made for this month’s challenge, you can find them here.

  1. Super cute!! I love the windows and the little butterfly!

  2. I love it! Love the colors, the coloring and the way you highlighted the stamps! Awesome card!
    Hugs and smiles

  3. The rose cards are beautiful! And no, roses don’t come in any other color – if they’re not pink then they’re not roses. The challenge card should win first place – you need to get a prize for this. The little circles cut out and glued on are so, so cute! Seriously, do you just make this stuff up as you go along? I’m fascinated with card-making – because I have no talent in that area whatsoever…in my next life I’m going to request the Hallmark gene or something…along with a lot of other things!
If you don’t win a prize for your challenge then something is seriously wrong!

  4. This is so beautiful, Susan!! I love the beautiful colors, circle cut-outs, and adorable little butterflies!! I love this!!

  5. Susan, I’m so glad you started a blog. It means I get to see even more of your creations. Yipee! This flower card by Anna is so darling and really stood out for me in the DD challenge gallery. I love her stamps too and have a hard time resisting.

  6. Wow really like layout and color choices on this card, it rocks!
