Yup it’s Friday and that means it’s the Limited Supplies Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. Today we were supposed to use our own handwriting someplace on the card. Here is the challenge. And here is my card.
I used an SU! Not Quite Navy marker to print the “Happy Birthday”. The candlelight was made by punching a small circle in a piece of paper and then, using it as a mask, sponging Summer Sun so that only a small “hazy” looking dot appeared on the card. The patterned paper is SU!’s new “Afternoon Tea”. I LOVE this new collection. The image panel is popped up on dimensionals.
Stamps: She’s All That
Paper: Blue Bayou, Whisper White, DP “Afternoon Tea”
Ink: Blue Bayou, Not Quite Navy, Summer Sun
Accessories: Double Stitched GG Ribbon in Groovy Guava, Border Punch
This is really pretty, Susan! What great colors and I love the punched border!
WOW!! I thought it was a stamped sentiment, great job!! HAPPY STAMPING!
Fabulous job on the handwritten sentiment! Love the special touches — your great punched border, fab DP and a touch of summer sun to highlight the candle’s flame!
Very nicely done! I love this paper and how you punched the bottom edges!

That image is so cute! I love the pretty paper, and your edging!!
I love love love this card. I am a demonstrator and for some unknown reason have not gotten this stamp set yet. You did a great job with this one and it inspires me to see how you could use this stamp set in other ways than they did in the mini.
Thanks for inspiring me!
Another winning card! I just got off the phone with my sister – who is a card freak much like some people who’s names I won’t mention – and I told her about your blog – she’ll be checking in as soon as she finishes her daily card-making-marathon!
I love your lady — I bought that set but haven’t used it yet!!! One of these days!!! Wonderful paper and border punch as well — fun, fun!!!
Gorgeous card, Susan! I love that paper too. Along with this set!
This is so pretty! I love the dp…and I ‘almost’ bought that stamp set. I like the punched border too!
