Be Still My Heart

Published by rainy at 12:01 am under Cards, Inque Boutique

My new See D’s stamps have arrived, and I LOVE THEM!!! I quickly got them all organized and then had the wonderful dilemma of which oh which stamps to use first.

I chose to use the “Birdi” set. These images just melt my heart. Using Jet Black Stazon ink I stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. The birds are cut out and popped up on dimensionals. They have been gently sponged with Creamy Caramel and Groovy Guava classic inks. The sentiment is from the “Phrases Collection”. And yes that is a little piece of SU!’s “Afternoon Tea” designer paper peeking out along the left edge. Have I mentioned how much I love that new collection of theirs? I sponged it with Creamy Caramel to beige up the white background so it would be a better match with the Very Vanilla card stock.

Well I just have to make one more card today. I hear voices calling me from my craft room! It is my stamps begging to be inked, and I mustn’t  neglect them! See you soon…

Stamps: See D’s “Birdi” and “Phrases Collection”
Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Sky, Basic Black, “Afternoon Tea”
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Soft Sky, Creamy Caramel, Groovy Guava
Accessories: Velvet and Organdy Ribbons, Rhinestone Brad, Corner Punch, Gel Pen

Creamy caramel….very vanilla….groovy guava…..my mouth is watering…I must now head into the kitchen to whip something up to counteract what your card created! Whatever happened to paper, glue and scissors?!?
