Beate’s Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #12

Published by rainy at 6:30 am under Beate's Inspiration Challenges, Cards, Flourishes

It’s Tuesday and this week I remembered to make a card for Beate’s Inspiration Challenge! Yay!! Both the topiary and the sentiment are from my new “Siberian Iris” set from Flourishes.

Sewing is not my thing. (I’ve been told that some people actually do it for enjoyment!) But I decided to give it a try on this card. Well I can say that at least I love the look if not the process of the real stitched border. The topiaries are stamped directly onto the designer paper. Oh and before I forget here is Beate’s inspiration piece. It is a print from Coldwater Creek.

What a gorgeous card, Susan!! I really love it. I have to confess though, if I had to get my sewing machine out, thread it and then practice and then actually sew on my card . . . well . . . 10 hours later I “might” have something to show for it! lol! I think if I had to sew regularily on my cards I’d have to quit stamping! I admire you for doing it!

Oh my gosh, this topiary card is FABULOUS!!! I so love that topiary and I LOVE how you’ve stamped it onto the DP and then used the white pen on it — wonderful, creative project — and you are even a good sewer!!! TFS!!!
