It’s Tuesday and time for another one of Beate’s “Be Inspired” Challenges. Here is a picture of her inspiration piece. (Click on it to get the full sized picture.)

When I saw this challenge piece my first thought was how clean and simple my card was bound to be. Well…

Somewhere along the way that clean and simple look got kinda lost! I’m sure it is all those felt flowers with an acetate and white card stock backing. But they sure were fun to play with! Someday I will get the hang of quick and clean, but not today. lol

  15. Possibly my favorite card of yours so far…I LOVE the felt flowers! Did you cut them out by hand or use some sort of new-fangled machinery?!?! Very cool! I saw some felt flowers like this in a quilt shop – actually they were attached to a wool quilt and they were adorable. So glad you made it home safe and sound – and how are the twins? Good as new I hope! I fly home on Monday night -Max is sleeping in the room next to me – and it’s all I can do not to run in there to “check” on him every five minutes!! I’ll be exhausted when I get home! Nan

  16. Susan, I just got those felt flowers yesterday in my order and cannot wait to use them…I will be gone a few days, but after that I plan to make a card using them. I love your clean, crisp card…thanks for the inspiration, gf!
