Flower Soft Birthday - Splitcoaststampers IC172

Woohoo!  Today I finally got to play in a Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge.  It has been such a long time.  The inspiration was to come from one of several little girls’ dresses by Little Daisy Designs.  Here is the dress I used as my inspiration.

I used the  Flower Soft Box Set “Pretty Pots Starter Kit” to make a quick and fun birthday card.  There are several sentiments in the kit that come printed on a good quality card stock to cut out as desired.  The butterflies and leaves framing the sentiment were also printed.  All I had to do was apply a little of the Flower Soft glue (included in the “Pretty Pots Starter Kit”) and sprinkle on some Baby Blue and Baby Pink Flower Soft.  I also added a little Stickles right on top of the Flower Soft to give the frame some sparkle.

Here’s something to try.. emboss the flap on the envelope.  I used the Cuttlebug Frill’s embossing folder on the card and also on the flap.  Wouldn’t this be fun for a wedding card or invite, too?!

    I’m slapping myself on the forehead wondering why it never occured to me to emboss envelope flaps! LOL TFS that great tip, and your card is so cute! I never would have thought to add sparkle to flowersoft either, but what a great look that is! Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration Susan :)
