Today’s Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers comes from a fun pillow company called Bonjour Mon Coussin.  Here is the pillow that inspired me.

I recently saw a tutorial on Dawn’s (Flowergal36) blog “My Stamping Thyme” for these wonderful little quilled roses.  I decided to give them a try.  Dawn has written a great tutorial that was so easy to follow.  Thank you, Dawn!

The only thing I did slightly different was to reverse the order of the circle punches.  It is easier for me to punch the smaller hole first and then center it in the middle while punching the larger hole.

Since I don’t have a quilling tool, I used her suggestion and directions for making one out of a paper clip.  It worked great!

I cut up and used a couple of SU!’s green felt flowers for the leaves.

I just love trying something new and these little lovelies were so easy and such fun.
