Wilbur

Today’s card was made for a couple of different challenges.  A sweet blogging friend, Elena, has begun a new monthly challenge on her blog The Red Haired Girl.  This month’s challenge was to use “Funky Patterns”.  Being a complete patterned paper junkie, I had hundreds of choices to choose from.  (Actually, this is not an exaggeration!!)smileyastonished1ani.gif

However, I settled on these two designs from Basic Grey’s “Max and Whiskers” designer paper pack.blog258cardwithwm.jpg

This set “Cats Galore” from Inkadinkadoo, has a particular image that looks a lot like the old tomcat with whom I grew up.  Wilbur and I were roughly the same age.  He lived a pretty long life for a cat and was around until I was a senior in high school.

The other challenge is the “Inchie Card Sketch #8″ and can be found over on the Inchie Inkling.  After making the card, I’m not so sure I really followed the sketch completely.  Here’s hoping the sketch police don’t find me!  hehe

Happy Crafting!
