I’ve gotten to play in a couple more Splitcoaststampers challenges this week. On Monday the CAS104 (Clean and Simple) Challenge was to be inspired by the words “Rock and Roll”. The rose was a beautiful Prima that I felt guilty about crumpling and squishing, but I love the way it turned out. (A little pink lace was added to this card before it was uploaded on my Splitcoaststampers Gallery. I just couldn’t decide which way I liked it best. lol)
The second card is for today’s Sketch Challenge 318. This new designer paper from Stampin’ Up is some of the prettiest EVER!!
The heart was stamped with Regal Rose Ink. Then a few of the flower petals were colored in with a Rose Red Marker.
Thanks for dropping by today. Happy Crafting!

By the title of your post I thought you were gonna add: “put another dime in the jukebox baby” because I love rock and roll too. The only thing I love more than rock and roll are your delightful Valentine cards on this post. Trés chic!
These are both great cards, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one exactly as it’s shown here! I’m a rock fan and have been all my life, and I visualize myself at an older age, rocking on my chair tapping my foot to some good rock music! LOL Awesome flower too!!!
Love your pink, black and white combo. So striking!
Very cool Susan, I love the bold look of the first one. A crumpled rose and a skull, you’ve nailed it, you rocker!
Gorgeous cards girl, you’ve nailed clean and simple! That rose is gorgeous crumpled, so perfect for the card, a perfect splash of color!
