It was fun to be home and to be able to play in my craft room again after being gone for three weeks.  To get started, I joined in the Color Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers today.

The colors included SU’s Rich Razzleberry.  Since I didn’t have any of that color, I added some of the Regal Rose ink to the Bravo Burgundy ink to lighten it up by coloring directly onto the rubber stamp with markers.  That brought the color a little closer to the challenge color.  Plus the Bravo Burgundy marker was used around all of the punched edges.  Love how that helps those edges to ‘pop’.

A portion of the bird image was added to the inside of the card, as well.  It’s always fun to add a little something there, too!

Hope your week has started off well.  It’s actually sunny here in Seattle today! So hubby and I are threatening to pull out our bikes and go for a ride.

Happy Crafting!
