Two very different brides deserve two very different wedding cards.

Bride number one’s colors were brown and orange.  The couple was registered at REI which is a sporting goods store.  Here is their card.

The invitation offered some inspiration.

The second bride’s invitation was all girl with rhinestones and lots of pink, pink and more pink.

The top panel across the card and the small heart were made from the invitation.

Both of these cards have been entered into the “Anything Goes” Stampin’ Sisters in Christ challenge this week .  They have a “sweet” stamp set to give away!  Check it out!

It’s always fun to tailor a card to fit the recipient.  And with wedding cards, getting clues from the invitation makes this even easier.

Hope you have a great week.  Happy Crafting!

P.SMy newest sweet little granddaughter has been named, Brooklyn Suzanne.  I love it!

  3. I’d say you’ve made the perfect cards for these brides. Very attractive cards and very thoughtful of you to do this for them based on their invitations.

  4. These are GORGEOUS, Susan!!

  5. Love them both, Susan but I think the first one is my favorite! 1st time I’ve heard you could register at REI…too fun!

  6. Gosh Susan, these are lovely wedding cards. You always do such a fabulous job creating the perfect card for each couple.

    What a pretty name!

  7. I always enjoyed making cards from invitations too, but everyone I know has graduated, married and had children, so I don’t get to do that too often! Your cards are so great and so thoughtful and personalized for the recipients! And what a beautiful name for the newest little angel in your family 🙂 Sweet 🙂

  8. These are both fantastic Susan!!

  9. Very cool, I just love how you take a cue from the invitations on how you make your wedding cards, I need to remember that one, I like how you recycle bits from the invite too 🙂
Your grandbaby’s name is so cute!

  10. Absolutely beautiful, both of them! Each very different, but couldn’t be more perfect!
