With all of the die cut shapes out there now, it’s easy to end up with several layers on a card when using and accenting them.  With Christmas cards, that can get expensive especially when factoring in mailing costs.  Well here is a design that actually removes layers but still allows you to show off all those great shapes.  Just cut the shape away!

Here are three cards that have just three layers including the card base!

This  final card could easily have just two layers including the card base.  However, it looks like a couple of extra stars sneaked onto this last one. It uses the stars five Nestabilities:

Less paper.. less time.. less postage.  It’s a perfect combination for some Christmas card creations.
