As intense as the Space Mountain rollercoaster ride may be, the Alice in Wonderland Teacup ride at Disneyland strikes more terror into my heart! I cannot go on those spinfest rides! So last week while our family spent Spring Break at the “Happiest Place on Earth”, I was very grateful that one of my sons and his wife took my granddaughters on the Teacups. My role was photographer. *phew*
However, just because I don’t like her ride, I do love this fun image of Alice.
She is colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.
What a trooper. He convinced his nieces that he was having fun! LOL!!
Thanks for dropping by today. Happy Crafting!

Great photos! No, I couldn’t do those spinning rides either and I don’t think the kids would want me too either! What a clever way to use your border punch for a ‘crown’ on top of your card. TFS!
Those spinning tea cups would have my stomach spinning LOL! Great Alice card and looks like everyone had great fun 🙂
What fun pictures, Susan…looks like everyone had a great time!!! I’m with you on those spinny kinda rides…not for me!!!! Your card is adorable…what a fun image and I love the scallop at the top with the pearls…sooo pretty!!!!
How FUN! 🙂 I don’t know if its age or having given birth but I can do less and less everytime we do any kind of rides. and no, I’m not that old! LOL!
Your card is beautiful too!
I can’t ride those spinning rides either and I worked at an amusement park in college. I think that is partly to blame, spending hours on roller coasters while they were being tested did me in. I just love your Alice card!!!!! I have done several Alice in Wonderland scrapbook pages and loved doing them!!! Wish I would have had this stamp!
Susan youd did a super job as photographer! No spinning rides for me either. Love the Alice card. I like how you made the border die look like a castle! Great with the pearls. As always you are amazing with the Copics!!
What a fabulous card, Susan! Love the vacation photos too. As for the Tea Cups — the older I get, the harder it is to tolerate them!
What a beautiful card and great photos. I admit, the teacups would be more to my liking than rollercoasters.
Oh Susan, these are great photos and a spectacular Alice card. Absolutely love how you colored the wonderful image; and your design and mix of colors and dies look absolutely wonderful together. Can you tell how much I like this gorgeous creation?
What a great dad! Love the photo. And the Alice card is just perfect!
FUN Sysan, love your texture, and layout!!~
I so relate to those spinning rides – I couldn’t do them even as a child! A slow merry-go-round is more my speed – Hah!
Great card, with beautiful coloring and I love the striped border with pearls! TFS the great photos 🙂
I love your card it is so fun and I’m with you…no tea cup spinning for me either. I have a good excuse now and that is TOO OLD! My grandkids don’t always buy it but it’s worth a try. Awesome card! Pat
Sweet card, great coloring, love the pearls with the border, perfect for this image.
I can’t do the spinning rides either, I am not very good with much motion at all, I even get car sick. Sounds like you all had a wonderful time!
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment on my blog. I LOVE this Alice card, I’m sticking it on Pinterest for inspiration. My grown daughter is madly in love with Alice and this would make a perfect card for her sometime.
Just had to laugh at your Tea Cup post, so funny!
Patti
What a great card –I always love your coloring, and your top border treatment is just perfect for sweet little Alice.
Your photography skills are awesome –with a moving subject no less! I have to admit, going on those tea cups used to be one of my very favorite rides there {after the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and the other rollercoasters –can you tell I lived 30 minutes from there for nearly all of my life? lol}. Haven’t been in six years, but I’m guessing they’d still be on my ‘to-do’ list. 😉 Glad you and your family enjoyed your week there.
hugs,
Christi
