I wrote a tutorial for Splitcoaststamper’s on how to make a crinkled flower by heat embossing sheer ribbons and fabrics.
Who knew that tulle and lace would melt and crinkle, too! Isn’t this flower just shab-a-licious!!
I had so much fun experimenting with different fabrics and ribbons. I think the secret may be a high polyester content?
What have you got that can be melted and crinkled into a flower?
Stamps: Waltzing Mouse “Spring Baskets”
Papers: PTI Select White; SU Tempting Turquoise; My Mind’s Eye “Oliver”
Inks: SU Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Pearl Ribbon Strand; Sizzix Ornate Frame #2 Embossing Folder; Crinkled Flower (made with Organdy Ribbon, Lace, Tulle and a Decorative Brad); Heat Gun
Great flower and love the embossed border and string of pearls you used.
Oh that flower is amazing! I love the whole card! 🙂
Oh, that is so gorgeous! I’m going to have to try this one for sure.

Gorgeous flower, has a lovely vintage feel to it, I have alot of left over lace that I would love to try and see if it would work for this, TFS!
