A couple of weekends ago my DH and I were able to see our granddaughters in Vegas and help our youngest one celebrate her 2nd birthday.

The shells on Kira’s birthday card were colored with Copics.  Then Stickles and sequins were added for some fun sparkle.

I made some matching food cards, too, for the fabulous birthday brunch spread.

Kira loves Ariel so her birthday party was all about her favorite mermaid.  Ariel even came to the big event!

And of course the cake kept up the theme!  It was absolutely adorable, and Kira was thrilled.  (The cake:  Tricia-Ann’s Tasty Creations – Las Vegas)

Kira’s card fits perfectly into this week’s Mod Squad Challenge “In the Ocean or On the Sea”!

Life is good.  Happy Crafting!
