It may be Christmas card making time, but birthdays happen now too.  Here are a couple of birthday cards I made using some really awesome designer paper that has been stashed away for a long time.  It was just simply time to use it!

All of the images and graphics are part of the paper’s design.  The only stamping are the sentiments.

The pins and rose and beautiful brad are also some stashed away embellishments that finally found their way onto a card.  Yeah!

Check out some of the other papers in this pack.  More fun designs just waiting to be added to a card base!

Both cards are playing together in three challenges:

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge:  Pin Cushion

Papertake Weekly Challenge:  Sooooooo Girlie :)

The falling snow was created by flicking masking fluid on the card base and then sponging with various blue inks over the top of it.  Once done sponging, the masking fluid was easily rubbed off to show the white card base beneath.  A 1″ circle punched from masking paper was used for the moon and torn masking paper was used for the hills.

So fun I had to do several!

Having a great time creating my Christmas cards.  Here’s another new stamp I recently purchased from Stampin’ Up.

Isn’t this the sweetest image and such a cute sentiment all on one stamp. Which is great ‘cuz the sentiment is always straight on with the image! Smiley.Yes1Ani
