There’s a great sketch for this week’s challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. I played along.
The embossing, sponging and piercing was done using an embossing folder and piercing template. Using the piercing template as a stencil, ink was sponged on the embossed areas.
This card is also entered into a couple of other challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge: “Pick a Fave”
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: “Anything Goes”
Happy Crafting!

Lovely card, Susan! The combination of embossing, inking and piercing is very striking.
Great card for the sketch, Susan! You got really creative with it. I love how the embossed/pierced pattern is slightly offset in the square, and the piercing template allows the sponging to be so perfect. I love that! Happy new year!
Oh, I love this card! Dry embossing really speaks out here and paper piercing is a nice touch!
