My son took this picture as we were cleaning up after a sunset surf last summer. That’s my hubby. And that’s the beautiful sunset that inspired my card today.
The cardstock was masked to leave a large strip where several sunset colors were sponged onto it. I’ve said this before but it absolutely makes me giddy when the masking is removed and there is this crisp contrasting line of ink.
When a sympathy card is needed, it can be hard to feel creative. Fortunately this card is just for my stash, but it’s nice to have one on hand.

That is one gorgeous sunset! I do love the crisp edge from your masking, and the beautiful silhouette stamp. It’s always better to make sympathy cards ahead of time. I need some for my stash, as well.
Wow!!! You captured the sunset perfectly. I can see so many different uses for the layout and colors you used. I’m with you on removing the mask with a fist pump too.
Only a true stamper can understand why you were “giddy” making this card. ROTFL! It’s stunning and I love the masking too! Hugs, Autumn
Love your card and how your vacation picture inspired it! I hope it remains in your stash for a long time. But, I am certain it will bring comfort when it is eventually used.
