It’s “Dare to Get Dirty” time over at Splitcoaststampers! I’m hosting a challenge and this is the card that I made for it. If you are a Fan Club member then come on over and check out all the fun challenges going on all of this week.
Oh and there are prizes!
One of my little granddaughters loves LOVES mermaids. This was her birthday card this year.
This time the money is right on the front instead of hidden inside the card.
The bill is placed in a little pocket which was made by attaching it with shell shaped eyelets to the card base.
The mermaid pops up as you open the card.
So fun to create and color!
Hope you’ll come and join the fun over at Splitcoaststampers!

Beautifully done. I am sure your granddaughter was pleased. I used this stamp for my daughter’s birthday card last month, but yours is prettier. I love the depth you have created and the colors are wonderful. Perfect choice on the seaweed too. I like the gems you used on the sentiment and near the fish too. Great job!
Truly beautiful card – a real work of art!! Each and every piece looks carefully selected, and so excellently executed! I can’t praise it enough! Your granddaughter should be definitely delighted with this! Thank you so much for sharing this with us and joining us at Seize the Birthday challenge!
Susan, it’s wonderful to see this amazing and gorgeous card! I was so happy to see you host a challenge this year, and it was a fun one! I’m sure your granddaughter loved this card! The details are amazing, and I love the card fold along with the beautiful coloring and the sweet pearls to add to the realism. I’m thrilled to see all the wonderful photos to show off how truly amazing your card is. I’m sure that your granddaughter will cherish this (my grandson has all the cards I’ve made him, and that’s so very special). Hugs and love! xoxo
Thank you for sharing your terrific pop up mermaid card with us at Love To Craft, your granddaughter will surely treasure it (and all of the pearls on it!)
