I love Friday! And today I got to play along in Sharon’s Stamp Simply Challenge ABC/123. The challenge was to make “letters or numbers a focal point” of your project. Well in a few weeks my DH and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. So I decided to make him a card… not that he would care if I didn’t, but it was fun anyway.

I used JustRite’s Times New Roman Uppercase Font Set for the custom sentiment.

I decided to make a second card with this simple layout.

I love this sentiment! We all have those “rainy days”! *grin*

Here is the inside.

Here’s hoping that you have a wonderful Friday! Don’t forget about Ellen Hutson’s World Card Making Celebration tomorrow!!
Happy Crafting!

I’m so happy that I was able to play along in Sharon Johnson’s (notimetostamp) Stamp Simply Challenge this week. Her challenge was to use leaves along with sponging to achieve the richness of autumn.

Besides using this yummy designer paper (I haven’t been able to decide if that is a real leaf embedded in it! lol), I also used a leaf charm and a couple of punched oak leaves. The punched paper leaves, the designer papers and the sentiment were all sponged.

A closeup of the paper gives a better idea of the textures. It’s really awesome with shiny lumps and bumps… almost like it has areas covered with UTEE.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks for dropping by today!

It’s time for another Dirty Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. This month the required element is a dog image or sentiment with a summer color scheme. And this polka dot pup also fits in Sharon’s Stamp Simply Challenge #101 - Let’s Polka. Here is my card.

Just a quick post today. My DGD’s are still visiting.

Happy Crafting!

Every Friday Sharon Johnson (notimetostamp) has a Stamp Simply Challenge on her blog. This Friday’s challenge is to “Thread It Thru!”, and I’m so happy that I got a chance to play along! For the threading on my card, I used a Martha Stewart Ribbon Edger Punch on both sides of the striped Graphic 45 designer paper. A twill ribbon was then threaded through the holes made by the punch.
Both the image and sentiment stamps are from the Cornish Heritage Farms set, “Scene It, Mountains”.
The card base is Memory Box’s Mocha card stock. The striped and dotted designer papers are from the Graphics 45 “Fashionista” collection. The butterfly is from the Graphics 45 “Botanicabella” collection.

Flatback Accent Pearls were used at the center of the Art Flower and for the butterfly body. Some sparkle was added to the flower with a Stardust Glitter Pen.

If you want to play along, too, visit Sharon’s blog here and get the deets!
