Here are 3 cards for 3 challenges.
The first card is for the Stampin’ Sisters in Christ Challenge #44. The challenge was to “make a card with just words (a sentiment/verse).. no stamped images.”
The second card was for a Clean and Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers CAS72. There was a sketch to follow. After I finished it, though, it didn’t look all that “clean”; so it didn’t end up on Splitcoast. I do have a hard time with those CAS challenges.
And finally the third card was for the weekly Sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers SC285. But it was completed a little late for the party and was never uploaded at Splitcoast, either.
To emboss the punched corner piece, I first taped it to the embossing folder with removable double sided tape. This prevented the small corner piece from shifting or moving during embossing.
The sweet little bird image was colored with Copics and then cut out and popped up for some added dimension.
All 3 cards use Inchies, Inchie+ or Twinchies. I keep learning more about Inchies. Lisa Lee has written a wonderful and helpful post on her blog all in an inch that helps one tell the difference between the front and back of an Inchie. She also shows why it makes a difference.
It’s the weekend! Hope everyone has a great one.
Happy Crafting!

Congrats to Linda and TFS all these great little cards! I’m growing fascinated with inchies lately and love seeing you create with them! I especially like your C&S card with the faux stitching and ribbon accents, but they’re all beautiful!!

Black, red and white make for very dramatic cards! All are wonderful! Such pretty DP as well!
Awesome cards, Susan. So beautifully detailed. I’m especially lovin’ that faux stitching around the main panel on the second one.
Love all the great things you did with your ribbons, Susan. Beautiful cards made with red and black. The crown over the bird is just adorable.
So great to see you Thursday – thanks for coming, I know it meant a lot to Venna – she is SUCH a cutie! I didn’t get a chance to see the card you gave her but I know it was a piece of art – as ALL of your cards are! You never cease to amaze me! xo, Nan
