Key to condition and status of each set:

*NUCUMC/D/R = New-Uncut or Not Punched-Unmounted-Current/Dormant/Retired:  This set has never been used.  It is still uncut (or not punched if die cut) and unmounted.

**NCUMC/D/R = New-Cut or Punched-Unmounted-Current/Dormant/Retired:  This set has never been used.  It has been cut or punched (if die cut) but has not been mounted.

***UMCMC/D/R = Used Mixture-Cut or Punched-Mounted-Current/Dormant/Retired: This set has at least one stamp that has been used, but there is a mixture of other stamps that are are still new, uncut or not punched (if die cut) and/or unmounted.

****UCMC/D/R = Used-Cut or Punched-Mounted-Current/Dormant/Retired:  All the stamps in this set have been cut or punched (if die cut) and mounted.  (I have always stamped an index with my mounted stamps.  So if a stamp has been mounted it has seen ink even if no project was ever made with that stamp.)

It is too bad that SU is taking such a hard line for their demonstrators. Thanks for the chance to win your candy.

I agree about there being so many great “competitors” out there, and I think it’s a shame that the “big” companies (SU, CTMH) can’t play well with others. I think they’re missing one of the key reasons people blog and share ideas, and alienating potential demonstrators (and customers) in the process. Have fun in your new-found freedom, and thanks for a chance at some blog candy!

SU doesn’t get it . . . the idea is to show how well your products work with other companies’ products!!! No one I know uses just one companies’ products.

SU products have great quality. They should not be so worried about competition. It’s out there where they like it or not.

Their decision could be a fatal error!

SU was the company that got me into stamping, but they are not the only company out there. I like their products and the quality is great, but I use what ever moves me. To limit their demonstrators to their ‘brand’ in the long run is going to limit their creativity as they don’t sell everything. Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. I love your blog.

I understand that “variety can be the spice of life” I like stampin’ up but also use other companies. Glad you had the courage to stand by your own ideas.

I love SU products but I use other things too. I think using a combination of products together would boost everyone’s sales. Thanks for offering up your old SU sets for a drawing.

Oh, Susan. You too? I have had to make the same decision. As much as I love SU, yes, there are most definitely other beautiful stamps out there. Best of luck in your whatever new direction your creativity leads you.
